Unlike traditional home health or hospital care, Caring Corner provides a warm, community-based environment where medical oversight happens seamlessly within each child’s daily routine. Every service is documented, individualized, and delivered by nursing staff trained specifically in pediatric medical complexity.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
The clinical care your child needs, all day long.
G-Tube & J-Tube Feeding
Bolus, continuous, and gravity feeding via gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes — scheduled, documented, and charted in real time.
Medication Administration
Scheduled and PRN medications — oral, enteral, inhaled, topical, and injectable — with triple-check safety protocols.
Nebulizer Treatment
Scheduled and as-needed breathing treatments administered by RNs who monitor respiratory effort and oxygen saturation before, during, and after every session.
Tracheostomy Care
Suctioning, stoma care, inner cannula changes, and emergency airway management by RNs trained in pediatric trach protocols.
Seizure Management
Active seizure monitoring, rescue medication administration, and detailed event logging shared with your neurology team.
Therapy Coordination
On-site coordination with physical, occupational, speech, and feeding therapists — your team, all under one roof.
Ventilator Support
Continuous management of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen therapy throughout the day.
Catheter & Ostomy Care
Clean intermittent catheterization, indwelling catheter care, and ostomy management with dignity and discretion.
Continuous Assessment
Vital signs, pulse-ox, respiratory effort, and neuro checks at intervals tailored to each child's care plan.

Medical care is at the heart of everything we do. Our nursing staff includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), each with specialized experience in pediatric and medically fragile care. Many have additional training in tracheostomy management, ventilator support, and enteral feeding, ensuring every child receives attentive, expert care in a setting designed for comfort and connection.

Treatment plans are written with you, not for you. We collaborate directly with your child's pediatrician, specialists, and home-health team.

Our RNs coordinate care with your child’s physicians and specialists, track medication changes, schedule follow-up assessments every six months, and maintain communication with your family and healthcare team.

If your child has Medi-Cal through Kern Family Health, Kaiser, BlueCross, or HealthNet, transportation to and from Caring Corner may be covered. Many families use school buses for drop-off and insurance-provided transport for pick-up.

We know that new medical diagnoses can feel overwhelming. Our staff provides one-on-one parent training from G-tube care and hygiene to understanding medical routines and equipment, so families feel confident and empowered.

02 Nursing Assessment
During your tour, you’ll meet with our pediatric nursing staff for a personal assessment to understand your child's medical profile.
03 Enrollment
After you meet with our nursing team, we walk you through the enrollment package and build a tailored care plan before your child's first day.
